Marty Hogan Comeback Tour

We have learned that racquetball Legend and Hall of Fame member Marty Hogan will soon officially announce his pro racquetball comeback tour. Marty has been retired from pro racquetball since 1992.

Marty Hogan’s last pro tour win was on April 26, 1992 at the VW Credit Challenger Cup Series in Lyndhurst , NJ.  Hogan defeated Tim Doyle in the Finals after beating Drew Kachtik in the Quarters and Dan Obremski in the Semi’s.

The 53 year old former 7 time World Racquetball Champion was contacted by telephone for comment today at his Chesterfield, MO ranch. When asked about his rumored comeback tour, Marty told 40By20.com,  “Yes it is true.  When I heard that Ruben Gonzalez was making a comeback on the IRT Tour at 58 years old I decided it was also time for me to get back on the pro tour.  If Ruben can break into the IRT top 10 rankings at 60, I can break into the top 8 at 55.

40By20.com will follow this development and report any updates.

    – doubtful — it would be fun to see Marty on the CPRT tour where there is some domination going on already.

There is NO way Marty can make it to the top 8 or Ruben make it to the top 10. No fricking way. I believe Ruben has the best intentions and Eketelon is using this as a marketing tool. Good luck to Ruben. Marty, on the other hand, is doing this out of ego and ego alone.
